The big move has been postponed for about a week. We did not pass the electrical inspection on the first try; however, everyone that we've talked to says you never do. There's always some little thing that just not quite right. I was upset when I first heard, but in all honesty I'm not packed and the house needs a good cleaning before we move in. So keep your fingers crossed that we get everything wrapped up in the next few days.
To summarize the progress this week....
- Carpet in the bedrooms and upstairs
- Septic tank installed and plumbing almost finished
- Touchup painting on walls and molding
- Appliances are being delivered tomorrow
- Finishing cable, phone, internet wiring + speaker system intalled by J.Little (our neighbors may soon hate this feature!)
